Hi there, I travelled from Essex to see this band and I would like to say a big thankyou as I had a great time.
Positives: the band sounded fantastic, loved the mix of age group and the band played very together giving a great well rehearsed performance.
I felt very welcomed by all members of the team.
The glass of wine was a lovely touch - I think one glass is just enough as if you could get another glass I feel that the break would have gone on longer.
The mix of music was lovely, my mother thoroughy enjoyed herself also.
Not so good points:
I feel there was to much singing, if the singers had only performed in the first part I think that would have been plenty.
So thankyou for the lovely evening, I came
Home feeling extremely Christmassy :)

A great Christmas concert at a superb venue - thoroughly enjoyed it! Particularly liked the Blues Brothers medley and the Christmas Thing but In the Mood was brilliant too.
This audience needed more than the one glass of wine to enter into the spirit of the occasion though....

We so enjoyed the performance last night,21st Sept 2011. The audience were smiling from the beginning to the end. Thank you so much Dave for playing "A nightingale sang in Berkley Square". Many happy memories.
We look forward to the next concert that we can get to from East Sussex.
Keep playing, you give a lot of pleasure to many people.

Watching this jazz performance was very entertaining however the amount of vocal songs drowned out the band. The singing was too much and a few songs weren't to a great standard. I think that having about 14-15 songs drowns out the band. Despite my opinion i throughly enjoyed the concert and look forward to seeing them again. David

Completely agree with David about the vocal songs drowning out the band. however the band still play amazingly, just there is too much singing being consumed.

I think that 'String of Pearls' is simply sublime and that Didi did a mighty fine job tonight. But did Glen Miller 'arrange' any more Verdi arias or tunes from 'classical' music? Always good to stretch comfortable expectations - mine included
Many thanks to all of you for another stirring performance.
